Expanding Wikipedia’s Record of Women in Botany
The New York Botanical Garden’s LuEsther T. Mertz Library partnered with Wikimedia NYC to improve Wikipedia coverage of women botanists. Through research and hands-on editing, participants helped bring greater visibility to women whose contributions to botanical science have historically been underrepresented online.
