Join Wikimedia New York City and Electronic Frontier Foundation on Tuesday, October 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Prime Produce for a social gathering and community discussion about the invisible cost of knowledge. Accessing and sharing knowledge should be a human right but increasingly we see restrictive platforms demand users give up privacy and speech rights in order to access essential services. Come hang out with us during Open Access Week as we hear from experts in the field on this topic. The discussion and Q&A will be followed by a social networking hour; food and drinks will be provided.
